CareLogic immediately began to alleviate these concerns, as the system’s clinician-friendly features created an easy way for Mind Springs’ clinicians to meet their day-to-day needs. Using Intuitive Functionality to Coordinate Care

In addition to improving clinician buy-in, CareLogic’s ease of use and robust functionality allowed Mind Springs to improve care coordination between the agency’s diverse program mix and across the agency’s 10-county coverage area. Mind Springs’ clinicians benefited from easily accessible data points, providing a one-stop shop for clinicians to quickly catch up on client information before a client interaction, such as the last time the client saw their medical provider and upcoming provider encounters. This level of care coordination helped create positive client satisfaction and improve access to care. McClinton states, “Clients appreciate the warm hand-off between providers. Everybody is accessing the same information, so they don’t have to re-tell their story. And being able to access their records and easily print out reports to take to their other providers means nothing is lost in translation.”

Promoting Compliance and Audit Readiness

The intuitiveness of the CareLogic system, also allowed Mind Springs to safeguard against failed audits by providing consistent and compliant documentation. “We have had two recent audits: our State of Colorado audit yielded our highest results ever. The auditors were very complimentary of us—that was very exciting! We just got results back from our 411 RAC Audit, and we scored 93%! I really attribute our high scores to CareLogic, ” shared McClinton.
