United States Core Data for Interoperability (USCDI) Support

This level of consistency is made possible by the United States Core Data for Interoperability (USCDI), a standardized set of health data classes and constituent data elements for nationwide, interoperable health information exchange.
The USCDI sets a foundation for the broader sharing of electronic health information to support patient care. By standardizing data elements and limiting them to a predetermined core set, providers can more easily communicate between platforms. The USCDI won’t always be limited to the core set; it’s an evolving and growing standard, and over time new data elements will be added.
