NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Oct. 3, 2018

Qualifacts Systems Inc., a leading SaaS EHR for behavioral health and human services providers and long-time Nashville Technology Council (NTC) member, today announced the company’s presenting sponsorship of the 2018 NTC Annual Meeting: Inclusion and Innovation: How Diversity Drives a Creative Tech Workforce. David Klements, President and CEO of Qualifacts Systems Inc., will present on the importance of diversity and inclusion in various aspects of building a fast-paced, high-growth business in Nashville.

“It’s an honor and a privilege for Qualifacts to serve as the presenting sponsor for the NTC Annual Meeting. When I started at Qualifacts in 2006, we had a handful of customers and were working through the typical challenges of a start up,” said David Klements. “Today, Qualifacts is the second largest EHR for behavioral health and human services, and we are extremely proud to have built a leading healthcare technology business here in Nashville.”

As a previous Board Chair of the NTC, Klements understands that Nashville’s economic success has meant that local businesses have faced challenges in filling their open technology positions. As such, Qualifacts has taken a unique approach, leveraging talent from a diverse set of industries to build out its team. Those industries include:

  •  Finance/banking
  • Technology
  • Healthcare
  • Government
  • Education
  • Retail
  • Entertainment/hospitality

“Some of the current challenges facing healthcare service providers have been solved in other industries. At Qualifacts, we strongly believe the best idea should win, and for that to happen, we need smart, passionate people, with diverse backgrounds, experiences, and ideas,” said Klements.

“Our technology sector is the leader in economic growth and opportunity in Middle Tennessee,” said Brian Moyer, President and CEO of the Greater Nashville Technology Council. “By hosting new professional development programs, inspiring students to pursue careers in tech, and launching Tennessee’s first tech apprenticeship program, the Greater Nashville Technology Council is doing its part to ensure these higher-paying tech jobs are available to all. We are thankful for the leadership and support of David Klements and Qualifacts System’s role in our tech community.”
